This year-long service of honor, remembrance, and restoration honors the pioneers, soldiers, and community builders laid to rest at New Trinity Cemetery at the People’s Burial Park in Haltom City, Texas. Each date is a call to action—where history meets hands-on service.

Honoring the 369th Harlem Hellfighters

A tribute to the legacy of the 369th Infantry Regiment and their Congressional Gold Medal recognition, including Texas-connected heroes who fought with valor abroad and dignity at home.

Honoring Women Pioneers of Purpose

Celebrating trailblazing women like Veda Felder—who hosted Martin Luther King Jr. in 1959—and Florence Marie Cole Rawls, a Congressional Gold Medal recipient of the historic 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.

Texas Buffalo Soldiers Honoring the Harvest of Our Heritage: Family & Community Remembrance Day.
