The Black, Brown & Tan Caucus’ Ride or Drive: Roll to the Polls kickoff at New Mount Rose began with the kind of unity that moves a community forward!

In more than 40 years of organizing—from UNT to today—I’ve never seen such diversity come together around a shared strategy. That’s the New Fort Worth Way: everyone belongs, and everyone has something to contribute.





Join us next Monday, October 5, at 6:00 p.m. at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church. Come be part of the work as we organize rides and help our neighbors get to the polls.

Our times demand it. History requires it. Our children deserve it. And God is still watching.




A Note to Voters

Ride or Drive: Roll to the Polls is a nonpartisan campaign.

We offer rides to anyone who needs one, especially senior citizens and people with disabilities. Our goal is simple: help people get to the polls so they can vote.

Who you vote for is your business. Every driver is trained not to recommend candidates, offer voting suggestions, or advise anyone how to vote. Any driver who does so will be removed from the team immediately.

This Get Out the Vote campaign is New Mount Rose’s effort to help voters know where and when to vote. Nothing less. Nothing more.

Access to vital services is affected when people are unable to make their voices heard. With Tarrant County closing 92 polling sites shortly before the election, New Mount Rose knew we had to act. More than 50 people answered the call at our first meeting and joined the effort to help voters this election cycle.

We’re ready to help our neighbors get to the polls.
