And then, when the music begins, Nija transforms before your eyes. From orchestrating a memorial service with precision and care, she becomes the lead singer of a band of Hidden Gems, lifting hearts with a voice that seems to descend straight from Heaven.


Nija Higgins is more than a voice—she is a minister of care and comfort. As the owner of Higgins House of Rest, a North Texas cremation and funeral services business, she provides families with a level of compassion and dignity befitting royalty. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Nija came to Texas as an educator and rose to the position of Vice Principal with unwavering integrity. Her story is one of leadership, grace, and service.
