THE DIGITAL FRONT DOOR IN 76104 Unity Across the Trinity Cultivating Community with a Circle of Compassion. Psalm 133
“There is something beautiful happening in the heart of 76104.”
What is taking shape at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church is more than a program, more than a partnership, and more than a gathering.
It is the launch of something incredibly special in the sight of both God and man.
A growing Circle of Compassion Coalition is bringing together churches, educators, healthcare advocates, nonprofit organizations, community leaders, and neighbors from across Fort Worth to cultivate hope, healing, opportunity, and transformation throughout the city.
Unity Across the Trinity.
As Psalm 133 reminds us:
“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.”
New Mount Rose is becoming more than a church building. It is becoming a place where faith meets action, compassion cultivates community, and hope opens doors to new possibilities.
It is becoming “The Digital Front Door in 76104.”
Through our Citizenship Academy and online certification programs for Community Justice Workers and Community Health Workers, new pathways are opening for families and individuals seeking guidance, education, workforce development, legal empowerment, digital access, and a stronger future.
At the same time, New Mount Rose is continuing its work to help combat food insecurity and the food desert crisis in 76104 through the development of the Funkytown Food Forest at New Mount Rose — a growing community movement focused on health, sustainability, gardening, feeding families, and transforming empty spaces into places of nourishment, education, and hope.
From garden boxes to community partnerships, the vision is simple: grow food, grow people, and grow stronger communities together.
And now, we are grateful and encouraged that Cook Children’s proposal to bless New Mount Rose with twenty computers and two printers for our Community Computer Center initiative is currently under consideration.
Look at God.
What once seemed like only a dream is becoming a movement rooted in unity, service, partnership, compassion, and possibility.
From Cook Children’s, to UNT Dallas, to LULAC, to the American Red Cross, to Midwest Food Bank, to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to Texas Health Resources, partners across the city are helping New Mount Rose expand access, opportunity, hope, healing, wellness, and food sustainability as we continue becoming the Digital Front Door in 76104.
This is bigger than technology.
From New Mount Rose to neighborhoods across Fort Worth, the Digital Front Door in 76104 is opening wider every day.
And by the grace of God, we pray many more lives will walk through it.
