SOAR SOME MORE! The legacy of Edward J. Briscoe Elementary School.

SOAR SOME MORE!

The legacy of Edward J. Briscoe Elementary School continues to live on through the lives of the children, families, teachers, alumni, and community members it has inspired for generations. This year’s final 5th Grade Promotion Celebration marked a moment that was both historic and deeply heartfelt.

Mr. Edward J. Briscoe was also my very first principal at Carroll Peak Elementary School, which made this occasion especially personal and meaningful to me.

It was truly an honor to welcome and host the students, families, faculty, alumni, and supporters at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church of Fort Worth for this memorable celebration of excellence, legacy, and hope.

A very special thank you to Principal Devona Mays. You are the embodiment of a true servant leader. Your love, leadership, compassion, grace, and unwavering commitment to the children and families of Edward J. Briscoe Elementary School have made a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.

Thank you for helping generations of students believe in themselves, rise above challenges, and continue to soar some more.

As our young people move forward into new chapters of life, let us continue encouraging them to “Soar Some More” even when life becomes difficult, uncertain, or challenging. Greatness is not determined by where you start, but by the courage, character, faith, and perseverance you carry along the journey.

Keep soaring.
Keep believing.
Keep growing.
And never stop reaching higher.

Your legacy of service and educational excellence will continue to inspire our community for generations to come.
