THE MISSION MINISTRY OF NEW MOUNT ROSE

MORNINGSIDE 100: ONE CITY. ONE ZIP CODE. TWO DIFFERENT OUTCOMES: A Vision for New Mount Rose and the Morningside Community in 76104. Presented by Pastor Kyev P. Tatum, Sr. https://youtu.be/BJrSvUvf5H0?si=odZIZhQYNNaXHbQW

ONE CITY. ONE ZIP CODE. TWO DIFFERENT OUTCOMES.

In Fort Worth, Texas 76104, there exists a reality we can no longer ignore.

It is one zip code—

yet it tells two very different stories.

On one side, there is access:

Access to healthcare.

Access to quality education.

Access to economic opportunity.

Access to longer life expectancy.

On the other side—the east side of 76104, in Morningside—

there is a different experience.

An experience marked by:

• Lower life expectancy

• Limited access to healthcare

• Fewer economic opportunities

• Generational cycles of poverty and instability

Same city.

Same zip code.

Two completely different outcomes.

This is more than a disparity.

This is a defining moment.

This is a call to action.

THE ROLE OF THE CHURCH

The question is not whether the church sees the problem.

The question is:

Will the church respond with power, purpose, and strategy?

At New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church,

we have answered that question with clarity and conviction.

We are not just a church that gathers.

We are a church that goes.

We are not just a church that preaches.

We are a church that practices.

We are not just a church in the community.

We are a church sent to transform the community.

FROM SURVIVAL TO SUSTAINABILITY

For too long, the east side of 76104 has been forced to live in survival mode.

But under the mission ministry of New Mount Rose,

we are leading a faith-fueled movement:

From Survival → To Sustainability

From:

• Crisis → Capacity

• Dependency → Development

• Poverty → Pathways

• Disparity → Dignity

This is not theoretical.

This is intentional.

This is strategic.

This is already in motion.

THE VISION: MORNINGSIDE 100

At the center of this mission is a bold and measurable commitment:

MORNINGSIDE 100

100 Jobs

100 Solutions

One Community Rising

This is our covenant with the people of Morningside.

Not promises—

pathways.

Not programs—

possibility.

A CHRIST-CENTERED ECOSYSTEM OF TRANSFORMATION

We are building a complete community ecosystem—

where faith meets function and ministry produces measurable impact.

Economic Development

Through the Inner City Coffee Exchange and Coffee Allo Cooperative, we are creating jobs, businesses, and pathways to ownership.

Health Equity

Through Health iN The Hood and the Clinic Without Walls, we are bringing healthcare directly into the community.

Screen To Esteem Services provides a full continuum of care:

• Prevention

• Intervention

• Treatment

• Post-treatment restoration

Because we believe:

We don’t just diagnose—we walk with people all the way to healing.

Emergency Response & Workforce Development

Through Skills City, USA Resilience Responders, we are training residents to serve as first responders and crisis leaders—creating jobs while strengthening community safety.

Senior Care & Dignity

Through Seasoned Seniors Services, we ensure that our elders receive the care, resources, and respect they deserve.

Citizenship & Unity

Through Nosotros La Gente Academy, we are building bridges across communities—offering citizenship pathways, ESL, and workforce readiness.

Youth Development

Through ROOTS Academy, we are investing in the next generation through education, enrichment, and character development.

Food Access & Sustainability

Through Faith in the Farm, we are connecting urban communities with rural farmers to create a new model of food access and agribusiness development.

WHY THIS MATTERS TO THE CITY

This mission is not just about one church.

This is about the future of Fort Worth.

Because when one side of a zip code suffers—

the entire city feels the impact.

But when transformation takes root—

the entire city rises.

A CALL TO CIVIC AND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP

We are calling on:

• City leaders

• Healthcare systems

• Educational institutions

• Business leaders

• Faith-based organizations

• Community partners

To align with a model that is:

• Proven

• Scalable

• Community-rooted

• Christ-centered

THE INVITATION

We are not asking for charity.

We are inviting partnership.

We are not asking for sympathy.

We are building strategy.

We are not asking for temporary support.

We are creating sustainable transformation.

THE DECLARATION

We believe that the east side of 76104 will rise.

Not by chance—

but by commitment.

Not by outside intervention alone—

but by faith in action, led from within.

100 Jobs. 100 Solutions. One Community Rising.

PLOW FORWARD

We will not turn back.

We will not slow down.

We will not lose focus.

Hands to the plow. Eyes on the promise. — Luke 9:62
