A transformative, faith-centered workshop exploring how gospel music has sustained generations through grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, oppression, and recovery. This experience will examine how songs of faith, testimony, lament, praise, and hope become more than music—they become ministry tools for emotional healing, spiritual resilience, and community wellness.


Rooted in the rich tradition of the Black church, this workshop bridges scripture, sound, story, and science to reveal a powerful truth: gospel music does more than inspire—it helps us breathe, remember, release, rejoice, and recover.

Yet in 2025, Fort Worth leaders Lt. Colonel Richard Crossley, Minister Derrick Johnson, and Pastor Kyev Tatum were honored by United States Speaker of the House Mike Johnson to stand in witness at not one, but two historic moments of national remembrance.
