That day, wrapped in dignity and destiny, the Congressional Gold Medal was placed upon their legacy. Yet in 2025, Fort Worth leaders Lt. Colonel Richard Crossley, Minister Derrick Johnson, and Pastor Kyev Tatum were honored by United States Speaker of the House Mike Johnson to stand in witness at not one, but two historic moments of national remembrance.
