THE GIDEON GENERATION: From Fear to Faithful Leadership. A Manifesto for Kingdom Leadership. Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas. Judges 6–8

“And Israel was greatly impoverished… and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord.”

— Judges 6:6

For such a time as this.

I. THE MOMENT: A GENERATION IN CRISIS

There comes a defining moment in every generation when heaven interrupts history…

When God reveals a blueprint not just for survival—

but for restoration.

We are living in that moment.

Like Israel in Judges 6, our communities are under siege:

Economic instability

Food insecurity

Educational inequity

Health disparities

Housing uncertainty

Systemic and spiritual erosion

In communities like 76104 and beyond, the signs are undeniable:

We are not just struggling socially—

we are suffering spiritually.

And just like Israel…

The cry has gone up.

II. THE BLUEPRINT: GIDEON AS A MODEL FOR MOVEMENT

God’s answer to a broken nation was not a system…

It was a person.

A man named Gideon.

Not positioned—but prepared

Not visible—but valuable

Not confident—but called

Hidden in a winepress…

Yet chosen to lead a war.

This is the blueprint:

God does His greatest work

through unlikely people

in undeniable moments.

III. THE CALL: RISE OF THE GIDEON GENERATION

In this hour, through leaders like

P. Wade Ross and Pastor Kyev P. Tatum, Sr.,

A clarion call is being released:

Rise, Great Gideon Generation.

Not a crowd—

but a remnant.

Not spectators—

but servants.

Not position seekers—

but purpose walkers.

We are not calling for more leaders…

We are calling for the right leaders.

IV. THE STANDARD: GODLY LEADERSHIP DEFINED

The Gideon Generation is not defined by charisma…

It is defined by character.

1. Courage Rooted in Conviction

Judges 6:27

We will act—even when afraid.

Faith over fear is our operating system.

2. Integrity Before Influence

Judges 6:25–26

We will tear down idols before we build platforms.

No hidden compromise

No divided loyalty

No private failure behind public success

3. Dependence on Divine Presence

Judges 6:16

“Surely I will be with thee…”

We do not rely on:

Popularity

Funding alone

Human validation

We rely on God.

4. Discipline Through Divine Reduction

Judges 7:2–7

We embrace refinement.

Smaller teams

Sharper focus

Stronger faith

We are not crowd-dependent—

we are covenant-driven.

5. Obedience to Kingdom Strategy

Judges 7:20

We will execute strategies that:

Don’t always make sense

Don’t always gain applause

But always align with God

6. Humility in Leadership

Judges 8:23

We reject ego.

We do not build personal empires—

we advance God’s kingdom.

7. Endurance to Finish Strong

Judges 8:27

We will not:

Win publicly and lose privately

Rise quickly and fall quietly

We are committed to finishing well.

V. THE WORK: FAITH IN ACTION

The Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas is not waiting…

We are already moving.

From pandemic response to present-day impact:

Feeding thousands monthly

Standing in the gap for the vulnerable

Serving with dignity, consistency, and faith

And now, a new frontier:

Faith + Food + Future

Through partnership with P. Wade Ross:

We are connecting farmers with faith communities.

This is more than distribution—

this is transformation.

Food production

Economic empowerment

Community sustainability

Dignity restoration

This is Kingdom economics in motion.

VI. THE SELECTION: THE 300 PRINCIPLE

Gideon started with thousands…

But God selected 300.

Why?

Because victory requires:

Discipline over desire

Commitment over convenience

Faith over fear

So we declare:

This movement is not for everyone.

We are calling for:

The committed

The consistent

The consecrated

Who are the 300 in this generation?

Who will stand without applause?

Who will serve without recognition?

Who will build without resources?

Who will remain faithful under pressure?

VII. THE DEFINITION: THE GREAT GIDEON GENERATION

We define this generation as:

A remnant raised in crisis

A people refined by obedience

Leaders shaped by character, not titles

Builders confronting broken systems

Servants aligned with God’s covenant

Warriors operating spiritually and practically

Reformers restoring communities through faith, strategy, and service

We are few—

but we are enough.

VIII. THE VISION: FORWARD-THINKING KINGDOM LEADERSHIP

We are not just reacting to problems—

We are redesigning the future.

Our leadership model is:

Faith-centered — God is our source

Community-rooted — People are our priority

Economically engaged — Sustainability is our strategy

Justice-driven — Equity is our mandate

Future-focused — Legacy is our goal

We are building:

Systems that feed

Programs that educate

Partnerships that empower

Communities that thrive

IX. THE CHARGE: THIS IS GIDEON DAY

This is not just a message.

This is a movement.

This is not just a vision.

This is a mandate.

The question is not:

“Is there a need?”

The question is:

Will you answer the call?

X. FINAL DECLARATION

We declare:

We will not hide in the winepress.

We will rise to the war room.

We will not bow to fear.

We will walk in faith.

We will not wait for change.

We will become it.

TOGETHER WE DECLARE:

We are the Gideon Generation.

We are called.

We are chosen.

We are committed.

And we will lead.

FOR 76104. FOR TEXAS. FOR THE NATION.

And for such a time as this…

we will rise.
