HOME FOR THE HEART: A Faith-Fueled Housing Initiative by New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church of Fort Worth.

New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church is launching a bold and compassionate initiative to restore hope, rebuild lives, and provide stability for families in crisis.

Home for the Heart is a call to action for individuals, families, and investors to donate unused or aging homes—transforming them into safe, transitional housing for single mothers with children who are working to get back on their feet.

This is more than housing.

This is healing.

This is restoration.

This is love in motion.

THE VISION

In the heart of Fort Worth’s 76104 community—where the need is great and the stakes are high—New Mount Rose is stepping forward to meet families at the intersection of hardship and hope.

Through this initiative, donated homes will be:

  • Renovated and restored with dignity
  • Repurposed as transitional housing
  • Used to provide stability while families rebuild their lives
  • Anchored in a supportive, faith-centered environment

A LEGACY OF GIVING

Donating real estate to a church is not new—it is a time-honored act of generosity that has strengthened communities for generations.

Now, New Mount Rose is carrying that legacy forward—bringing homes back to life so families can do the same.

BENEFITS OF DONATING REAL ESTATE

Donating a home is not only a powerful act of compassion—it can also provide meaningful financial advantages:

  • Tax Deduction: Donors may receive a charitable deduction based on the property’s fair market value
  • Capital Gains Relief: Avoid capital gains taxes on appreciated property
  • Kingdom Impact: Turn unused property into a life-changing blessing for a family in need

HOW IT WORKS

  • Property is transferred through a legal deed (typically a warranty deed)
  • An appraisal is required for properties valued over $5,000 (per IRS guidelines)
  • Homes are renovated and repurposed for ministry housing
  • In some cases, partnerships may be formed to maximize community impact

For those seeking a simpler path, donors may also choose to sell their property and contribute the proceeds to support the mission.

WHY IT MATTERS

Because every mother deserves a safe place to raise her children.

Because every child deserves stability, dignity, and a future.

Because the Church must not only preach hope—

We must build it.
