With excitement, gratitude, and deep Fort Worth pride, we are thrilled to announce two dynamic cultural exhibitions developed over the past year that shine a powerful light on our city’s rich — and often under-told — history.
The first, Trilogy of Her Story: Black Women Trailblazers of Fort Worth, is a joyful celebration of brilliance, courage, and faith. This inspiring exhibition honors three extraordinary women who reshaped their fields and left an indelible mark on history: pioneering LPGA coach Gladys Lee, groundbreaking SEPIA Magazine publisher Beatrice Elizabeth Pringle, and gospel artist and minister Mary Francine Reese Morrison. Their stories radiate excellence, resilience, and spirit — reminding us that Fort Worth has always been home to world-class women of vision and virtue (https://blacktexans.blogspot.com/2025/04/the-trilogy-of-her-story-black-women.html).
The second, Hidden Crowns of Cowtown: The Legacy of Negro League Legends from Fort Worth, boldly lifts up the athletic excellence and quiet dignity of local Negro League heroes whose talent helped pave the way for integration in professional baseball. This exhibition beautifully weaves together sports, civil rights, and Fort Worth identity — proving that greatness often rises from places the world once overlooked (https://blacktexans.blogspot.com/2026/02/hidden-crowns-of-cowtown-legacy-of.html)
Together, these exhibitions celebrate heritage, honor legacy, and ignite inspiration for the next generation.
Now, with great anticipation, we are seeking funding partners and visionary collaborators to help transform these exhibits into traveling educational experiences that can bless schools, churches, museums, and civic institutions across Texas and beyond.
The stories are powerful.
The impact can be national.
And the moment is now.
We warmly welcome your partnership as we preserve, promote, and proclaim the greatness of Fort Worth.
With joy and appreciation,
Pastor Kyev P. Tatum, Sr.
