Last night, grace hit a milestone.


Police officers pulled up to the doors of New Mount Rose and escorted in our 50th soul out of the cold. Not a number. Not a statistic. A soul.


Fifty lives covered from freezing winds.

Fifty hearts embraced with warmth and dignity.

Fifty sacred reminders that real faith moves its feet.


This is what James 2:17 looks like in real time.



And we are not slowing down.


Through the steady, servant-hearted leadership of David and Aracely — and their beautiful children watching compassion unfold before their eyes — we are serving the Lord with gladness. This is ministry beyond the pulpit. This is love that refuses to sit still. This is the Church being the Church.


And today, the aroma of hope rises again.



Chef Meka of the Abigayle Initiative returns as our Guest Chef, preparing a homemade meal for our Warming Center neighbors. The air is filled with more than food — it’s filled with restoration. Bowls are being filled. Spirits are being renewed. Souls are being reminded they matter.


To every New Mount Rose Angel Donor — you are the quiet heroes behind this miracle. Your prayers have power. Your generosity builds shelter. Your compassion turns cold nights into sacred space. You are not simply contributing. You are participating in rescue. You are underwriting mercy. You are standing in the gap between life and loss.
