Good morning, church family!
Today we are so happy to celebrate Ushers’ Day here at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church. This is a special time to thank our ushers—the kind and faithful men and women who serve our church every Sunday with smiles, grace, and love.
Our ushers stand at the doors to welcome everyone who comes to worship. They hand out programs, help people find their seats, and make sure everything runs smoothly. They keep God’s house peaceful, friendly, and full of love.
The Pastor and the Ushers work hand in hand to make sure each service honors God. The Pastor preaches the Word, and the Ushers help prepare the way so everyone can listen, learn, and feel the presence of the Lord.
The Ushers and the Congregation also work together. Ushers welcome the people, and the people show kindness and respect in return. Together, we are one church family, serving God side by side.
Our ushers have promised to serve the Lord with clean hands and pure hearts, always ready to help whenever they are needed.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 84:10,
“I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God,
than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”
That means it’s a great honor to serve God—even if it’s just standing at the door.
And Hebrews 13:2 reminds us,
“Do not forget to show love to strangers.”
That’s exactly what our ushers do—they show love to everyone who walks through the doors of New Mount Rose.
So today, we say thank you to all of our ushers for your hard work, kind hearts, and faithful service. You help make New Mount Rose a warm and welcoming place for everyone.
