NEW MOUNT ROSE HALLELUJAH FALL FEST. “Serving The Lord With Gladness.” — Psalm 100 (KJV)

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - Today was a truly blessed and historic day at The Rose! Our Skills City Resilience Responders hosted their very first Hallelujah Fall Fest—another major step in the life-saving work New Mount Rose has faithfully led since the pandemic of 2020. When our inner-city neighborhoods were facing extraordinary hardship, New Mount Rose, rose to the moment, becoming a trusted community-response anchor for families in crisis. Today’s celebration was another shining testimony of faith in action.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 (KJV)

A Day of Blessing, Warmth, and Provision

Hundreds of families were lifted, loved, and encouraged through blankets, diapers, wipes, and boxes of blessings. We are overwhelmed with gratitude for our dear friends from First Baptist Church Burleson, who showed up in a mighty and generous way with 130 turkeys and all the trimmings for our neighbors. Their kindness fed not just bodies—but spirits.

“In all things I have shown you… it is more blessed to give than to receive.” — Acts 20:35 (KJV)

We are also deeply grateful for Ms. Thana Hickman and Viola’s House, whose continued provision of diapers and wipes has become a lifeline for single mothers striving to care for their children with dignity and stability. Your compassion shines like a beacon in our city (https://www.violashouse.org/).

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.” — Galatians 6:2 (KJV)

Introducing the Patti Huff Williams Genealogy Research & DNA Analysis Partnership

To close this extraordinary day, we were honored to launch the DNA Testing Program at New Mount Rose, with guidance from renowned genealogy expert Patti Huff Williams. Families now have the opportunity to explore their heritage, uncover long-hidden connections, and pursue healing rooted in truth, clarity, and identity.

Her deep expertise in DNA research, genealogy education, and family history recovery is transforming lives across our community.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above.” — James 1:17 (KJV)

My Dream Academy: A Night of Achievement and Hope.

To close out the evening, New Mount Rose had the distinct honor of hosting the 13th Anniversary Graduation Ceremony for My Dream Academy, a fully accredited private school that provides students with high school diplomas—not GEDs. This institution has become a lifeline for young people seeking a second chance, a stronger path, and a future filled with opportunity.

The Kirk Franklin Chapel was filled to the doors—packed with proud families, friends, mentors, and supporters—all gathered to celebrate the achievements of graduates who refused to quit. Their perseverance, discipline, and faith carried them to this moment, and New Mount Rose was blessed to provide the sacred space where their dreams could be crowned with glory.

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)

A Ministry of Justice, Mercy, and Hope

Through it all, the Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas continues to stand boldly in the gap for our families—fighting for justice, dignity, health, and community well-being. From advocating for vulnerable neighbors to responding to emergencies with compassion, their work reflects the heart of God.

“Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.” — Isaiah 1:17 (KJV)

Closing Prayer

God, continue to bless our efforts as we serve Your people with love, joy, resilience, and purpose. Strengthen our hands, enlarge our vision, and keep us faithful to the work You have called us to do. Amen.
