DEBRA CHRISTIAN: A HEART AS BIG AS TEXAS!

An extraordinary East Texas Black woman has stepped forward with a gift that will bless generations — donating 64 acres of land to establish the East Texas Veterans Cemetery (https://youtu.be/tC1D-mwzMxw).


Because of Debra Christian’s historic and heartfelt donation, the National Cemetery Administration (NCA) of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has committed millions of dollars to build the first-ever East Texas State Veterans Cemetery (SVC) — a sacred place of honor and remembrance for our heroes.




Thanks to her vision, courage, and generosity, East Texas is about to make history with a veterans cemetery planned near Hallsville — a lasting tribute born from one woman’s incredible love for her community and country.
