HEALING FOR HURTING HEARTS: Introducing Skills City, USA and the Resilience Responders.
HEALING FOR HURTING HEARTS: Introducing Skills City, USA and the Resilience Responders.
Psalm 147:3 – “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
FORY WORTH, TEXAS: Hidden away in the Milford L. Kelly Fellowship Hall of New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church of Fort Worth is something powerful, something holy, something alive — a circle of young people from every walk of life discovering a life-changing truth: their healing is directly tied to their service to others.
Through what we call our Circle of Compassion, Skills City, USA has become the “Helping & Healing Headquarters” for everyone who dares to believe that God still has a purpose for them. Here, faith becomes fuel, prayer becomes power, and neighbors become family.
Now, we are stepping boldly into deeper waters with the launch of The Resilience Responders — a faith-fueled, innovative eMUSIC Internship Program (Emergency Management, Urban Solutions in the Inner City). This groundbreaking movement creates real pathways into neighborhoods across the nation, equipping young leaders to respond to pain with purpose, trauma with transformation, and despair with deliverance.
“Healing for Hurting Hearts” is more than a motto — it’s our mission. For years we’ve searched for a place of grace, a space to rebuild our lives and families, a sanctuary where broken pieces can become blessed testimonies. Where Broken Crayons can still color. By the grace of God, the power of prayer, and our partnership with Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County, we are helping and healing hurting hearts — one human being at a time.
If you bring the will, we will help you build the skills. Together, God will bring the healing. That is our formula for a fruitful future — a future filled with peace, purpose, and people who are ready to change the world.
