FORT WORTH, TEXAS – The number seven shines powerfully in Scripture! From the seven days of creation to the seven-fold blessings of God, seven represents completion, divine perfection, and covenant faithfulness. For Pastor Kyev Tatum and Sister Tonya Tatum, these seven remarkable years at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church have been filled with spiritual growth, visionary leadership, and God’s perfect guidance in their ministry.


Matthew 5:16 reminds us to “let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Over the past seven years, Pastor and Sister Tatum have lived this calling with boldness, illuminating the path of faith, service, and community transformation throughout Fort Worth. Their ministry has sparked spiritual growth and lasting impact—from workforce development and historical preservation to community outreach and advocacy for peace and justice.
