As they prepare to travel to Washington, D.C., to “take a seat at History’s Table” at the Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony on September 3, 2025, Candy wrote a check for $1,000 toward their journey—and now she’s challenging YOU to join her.


Our Young Buffalo Soldiers also received a $500 contribution from a local retired military officer and his wife.
