Skills City, USA Kicks-off First Day With Visit to TCU.

Fort Worth, TX — The journey toward workforce excellence began with a bold first step as Skills City, USA kicked off its first official day with an energizing and purpose-filled visit to the campus of Texas Christian University (TCU)—a premier institution for innovation and skills development in Fort Worth.

Students and staff explored top-tier learning environments including the athletic complex, interior design labs, and mass communication studios. These immersive spaces showcased what is possible when education meets opportunity at the highest level.

Skills City, USA is more than a training program—it’s a faith-driven movement designed to build skills, restore hope, and open doors for underserved communities in Fort Worth’s 76104 zip code and beyond. We believe that when people bring the will, we’ll help build the skills—guided by the principle in John 9:4: “We must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day.”

This visit to TCU represents our commitment to forging meaningful partnerships that elevate our students by connecting them to the best resources our city has to offer. Together, we are creating a pipeline of opportunity, purpose, and progress.
