Morningside Magic! Rise, Grind, & Shine. Matthew 5:14-16



“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”


In the heart of the Southside, where faith runs deep,

Where prayers are sown and promises keep,

A spark of the Spirit begins to climb—

That’s Morningside Magic—Rise, Grind, and Shine.


Every child is a blessing, a light to behold,

Carrying dreams more precious than gold.

Every family is wrapped in God’s embrace,

Finding strength and hope in this sacred place.


This August, we gathered with purpose and pride,

With backpacks in hand and Jesus as guide.

We stood as a village with one steady aim—

To lift up our youth in God’s holy name.


We rose for respect, we grind for what’s right,

We shine for the future with Heaven’s true light.

It wasn’t just school supplies filling their pack,

It was dignity, love, and strength coming back.


Led by a team with hearts set on fire,

Builders of hope, lifters, inspirers.

No fakes, no fame—just faithful hands,

Doing God’s good work across this land.


House of Fadez—where confidence grows,

New Mount Rose—where the living water flows.

The Ministers Justice Coalition stands tall,

And Skills City, USA—answering God’s call.


They served and they sowed, they labored in love,

With wisdom from Heaven and power from above.

Through trials and triumphs, they never divide—

They rise together—that’s the Morningside stride.


So come walk with us, come share in the light,

Let’s shine for the Kingdom, let’s stand for what’s right.

With Jesus our anchor, we press toward the height—

Because Morningside Magic is God’s holy delight.
