LEARNING TO LEAD: “You cannot lead where you will not go, and you cannot teach what you do not know.”

LEARNING TO LEAD: “You cannot lead where you will not go, and you cannot teach what you do not know.”

At Camp Buffalo Soldiers, our young cadets are learning that leadership begins with discipline—and discipline starts with marching to the same beat.

Today, Veteran Pat Sterling—a dedicated and dynamic leader—spent time mentoring our young soldiers in the art of marching. Though a little rusty, they showed heart, humility, and a willingness to learn.

Camp Buffalo Soldiers is a faith-based, positive youth development program held every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Worth. This inaugural training session wraps up on August 2, 2025.
