From the battlefield to the ballfield, the legacy lives on.

Join us for a grand slam celebration of heritage, heroism, and hometown pride at the Rube Foster Pitch, Hit & Run — a signature “Fun Over Guns” event where the love of the game meets the power of unity.

In honor of Andrew “Rube” Foster, the visionary founder of the Negro Baseball Leagues, we are proud to host this official Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit & Run (PHR) event — where boys and girls from across our community can swing for the fences and compete for a chance to shine at the 2025 MLB World Series!

But this is more than baseball — this is a tribute to courage and excellence.

We honor the unsung heroes of the Buffalo Soldiers, whose discipline and dignity in military service carried over to the baseball diamonds of the Negro Leagues. Their bats spoke loudly. Their gloves told stories. Their spirits still inspire.

This is baseball with a mission.

This is history with a heartbeat.

This is community on a comeback.

So grab your glove, lace up your cleats, and bring your family for a day filled with hope, hustle, and heritage.
