CANDY CITY, USA PRESENTS

Hollywood Comes Home: Candy Clark, Classic Cars, and Fort Worth’s Film Future. Tarrant County College South Campus | Saturday, June 21, 2025 | 9:00 AM

FORT WORTH, TEXAS — Sixty years ago, three iconic things happened in Cowtown:

• Candy Clark graduated from Trimble Tech High School;

• Tarrant County College South Campus opened its doors; and

• Kyev Tatum was born at JPS Hospital, just days before Christmas.

Now, in 2025, these milestones converge for one unforgettable weekend celebrating cars, cinema, community, and — yes — Hollywood Sweetheart Candy Clark!

EVENT DETAILS

Date: Saturday, June 21, 2025

Time: 9:00 AM

Location: Tarrant County College South Campus

5301 Campus Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76119

In proud partnership with New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church, the Fort Worth Film Commission, the Office of the President at TCC South, and the TCC Film Department, this high-octane hometown reunion is revving up to honor Fort Worth’s own Hollywood sweetheart and put a spotlight on the city’s rising star in the film world.

And yes, we’re bringing the heat — The American Graffiti Tribute Classic Car Show and Rich Puryear are pulling up with chrome, style, and stories from the golden age of cruising!

WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Exclusive Film Screening & Q&A with Candy Clark

• Book and Photo Signings – Candy’s Tight Heads memoir.

• Spotlight on TCC’s Film Production Program

• Recruitment & Resource Pop-Up Fair for aspiring creatives.

• Old-school tunes, tasty eats, and good vibes all around

• The full American Graffiti Tribute Car Collection — from John Milner’s iconic ’32 Ford coupe to the Citroën 2CV and even a Vespa GS 160 (https://vimeo.com/1078372802)

And if that’s not enough, imagine this: Candy Clark signing autographs next to a chopped ’51 Mercury while Wolfman Jack blares through the sound system and a crowd of film lovers, hot rod fans, and hometown heroes cheers her on.

THIS ISN’T JUST A CAR SHOW…

It’s a cruisin’, groovin’, heart-tuggin’ tribute to Fort Worth’s film legacy — and a celebration of the incredible woman who helped put us on the Hollywood map.

Candy Clark — Academy Award nominee, film icon, and proud Bulldog from the Trimble Tech Class of 1965 — is coming home, and Fort Worth is rolling out the red carpet.
