Get Ready for a Beautiful Celebration!

New Mount Rose Mother’s Day Weekend | May 8–11, 2025

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - It’s that special time of year again — a weekend of love, laughter, and legacy as we celebrate the amazing mothers, grandmothers, and women who have nurtured, guided, and uplifted us. Come and be a part of something truly meaningful at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church!

Thursday, May 8 – Community Food Bowl

Thanks to our friends at Midwest Food Bank and Secured Moving Company, we begin our weekend with a heart of service! Join us Thursday afternoon at 2864 Mississippi Avenue, Fort Worth, TX 76104, for our Community Food Bowl — a time to serve, share, and show love to our neighbors in the Morningside community. Let’s feed both body and soul!

Friday, May 9 – Grandmothers Day in Old Grapevine

All aboard the celebration train! Meet us at 10:00 AM at the T&P Station on Lancaster Avenue for a joyful ride to historic Old Grapevine. It’s a day for honoring grandmothers with food, fun, fellowship, and a little shopping spree (until your wallet says “that’s enough!”). Bring your best smile and your walking shoes!

Sunday, May 11 – Mother’s Day Worship Experience

You don’t want to miss this powerful worship experience! Pastor Kyev Tatum will bring a life-giving message titled:

“Hope in an Envelope” – 2 Corinthians 3

God has written a message of hope, tucked it in the envelope of your heart, and all you have to do is receive it, open it, and follow His instructions. Oh my — Lord, have mercy!

Worship begins at 11:00 AM in the Kirk Franklin Chapel at New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church, 2864 Mississippi Avenue, Fort Worth, TX — right in the heart of Morningside.

Can’t be with us in person?

You can still be a blessing!
