Support Our Youth: Honoring the Past, Building the Future
The Rosebuds of New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church – Fort Worth have been granted a historic opportunity to present curated military photographs to the Library of Congress as part of the 6888th Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony, taking place in Washington, D.C., April 29–30, 2025.
This extraordinary experience allows our Rosebuds to “lean and glean” from the powerful legacy of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion—the only all-Black, all-female battalion to serve overseas during World War II—while preserving their stories through the Veterans History Project.
With your generous support, this educational and transformative journey can become a reality.
