AUSTIN, TEXAS - The debate is underway, and history is in the making. For Black Texans, this moment is more than politics—it’s about possibility. For too long, our families have been trapped in systems that deny our children the quality education they deserve. But today, with the Lord as our helper, we stand on the edge of a breakthrough.



By this time tomorrow, Texas has the opportunity to become a School Choice Friendly State—a place where every child, regardless of ZIP code or income, has the power to pursue an excellent education. This isn’t just policy—it’s a path to justice, equity, and generational empowerment.


We call on our leaders to release this billion dollar blessing—and let it reach the classrooms, communities, and churches that have long been left behind.


School choice is not a threat to public education—it’s a lifeline for our children’s future.



Let Texas lead. Let freedom ring in every school hallway. And let Black Texans be at the forefront of this fight—for our families, for our faith, and for our future.
