Help Send Our Little Miss 6888th Historians to Washington, D.C. on April 29-30, 2025.
New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church is seeking support to send our Little Miss 6888th Historians to Washington, D.C. for the 6888th Congressional Gold Medal Ceremony—a historic occasion honoring the heroic women of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.
These young historians have received a special invitation to participate in the Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress, where they will help preserve the powerful legacy of the 43 Yellow Roses from Texas who proudly served during World War II. They will also present Stories Worth Saluting, a collection of black military veterans who will participate in the Veterans History Program at the Library of Congress.
We are currently in need of seven airline tickets to ensure their participation in this unforgettable moment. By sponsoring **one ticket—or more—**you are investing in a living legacy and empowering the next generation to protect, preserve, and promote the heritage of these remarkable women through our Little Miss 6888th Ministry.
