Get ready, Fort Worth! History is coming to life in a powerful and inspiring way! The Trilogy of Her Story exhibition is more than just a display—it’s a celebration, a revelation, and a rallying cry for the extraordinary Black women who broke barriers, defied expectations, and paved the way for generations to come.

Presented by the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, this groundbreaking exhibit brings long-overdue recognition to three phenomenal trailblazers whose legacies continue to shape Fort Worth and beyond:

• Gladys Lee – The fearless LPGA golfer who swung through racial and gender barriers with skill, determination, and an unshakable spirit. Her journey on the greens redefined what was possible for Black women in professional golf.

• Francine Reese Morrison – The electrifying “Songbird of the South,” whose powerhouse gospel voice didn’t just sing—it shook the rafters, moved the masses, and carried a message of faith, hope, and love.

• Beatrice Elizabeth Pringle – A publishing powerhouse, the first Black female publisher of a major magazine, who turned Sepia Magazine into a national platform for Black voices, culture, and excellence.

Through rare photographs, personal artifacts, archival treasures, and immersive storytelling, Trilogy of Her Story brings you face-to-face with the courage, brilliance, and resilience of these remarkable women. Step into their worlds, hear their stories, and witness their lasting impact on Fort Worth and beyond.

This exhibit is a labor of love, a beacon of history, and a powerful tribute to Black excellence. It was made possible through the dedicated collaboration of historians, archivists, and organizations committed to preserving and uplifting Women history.
