💔 HOW MANY MORE INNOCENT LIVES MUST BE LOST? 💔


Gun violence is robbing us of our children, leaving families shattered, and traumatizing entire communities. This is NOT just another march—this is a battle cry for change!


On April 4, 1968, at exactly 6:05 PM, the voice of justice, Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., was silenced by an assassin’s bullet. Fifty-six years later, the madness continues. How many more must die before we take a stand?


🔴 1,529 lives stolen in Tarrant County (2019-2023).

🔴 4,600 lives lost to gun violence across Texas in 2023.

🔴 Thousands more wounded, grieving, and living in fear.


ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

We march to honor Dr. King’s legacy and demand an end to this senseless violence. We march for the children who never made it home. We march for the mothers and fathers burying their babies. We march for peace, for healing, for action—before another name is added to the list.

🔹 We march because our lives depend on it!

⏳ Gather at 5:30 PM at the intersection of Atatiana Jefferson Memorial Parkway & Mississippi Avenue—a neighborhood deeply scarred by gun violence.


🚶🏾 At 6:05 PM sharp—the exact moment Dr. King was assassinated—we will step forward in his honor, marching toward New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church (2864 Mississippi Ave., near East Berry St.)

At the church, we will take a bold stand for peace. Bring your bullets. Bring your ammunition. Surrender them for permanent disposal—a powerful symbol of our commitment to ENDING gun violence.

Thanks to the generous support of Minister Derrick Johnson, we will honor the lives lost to gun violence in Tarrant County with the release of doves—a powerful tribute to the souls stolen by senseless violence.


🕊️ Each dove will rise as a symbol of peace, love, and the unbreakable spirit of those we’ve lost. Let this moment remind us that while their voices have been silenced, their memories will never fade.

After the march, witness history in the making as we bless the Chop Saw, a tool that will be used in future Guns to Gardens Safe Surrender events right here in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, beginning in 2025.
