This three-day, in-person gathering will bring together frontline advocates, faith leaders, and community organizers to foster collaboration and develop actionable strategies to combat violence.

Pastor Kyev Tatum, a nationally recognized civil rights leader and faith-based community advocate, has been invited to speak at this critical summit. Drawing from his extensive experience in policy, program development, and public advocacy, Pastor Tatum will share his insights on faith-driven solutions for violence prevention. His session will focus on engaging the church as a catalyst for community change, emphasizing the role of faith leaders in addressing systemic issues through action.

A National Leader in Clergy-Led Gun Violence Prevention

From Uvalde to New York, from California to St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Pastor Kyev Tatum has been on the front lines of clergy engagement in gun violence awareness and prevention. He has led prayer vigils, peace walks, and community interventions in response to some of the most devastating gun violence tragedies in America. His advocacy extends beyond words, mobilizing faith communities to take concrete action through policy engagement, mental health support, and youth intervention programs.

Through initiatives like the Fun Over Guns Campaign and the Rube Foster Pitch, Hit & Run Competition, Pastor Tatum has worked to create safe spaces and positive alternatives for youth, steering them away from violence and toward opportunities for growth and leadership. His ability to bridge faith, policy, and activism has made him a trusted voice in national conversations on reducing gun violence.
