A Tribute to Mother Naomi R. George. By Pastor Kyev Tatum


I’m ready to meet the Lord in the air,

To leave behind sorrow, worry, and care.

My journey is finished, my race is run,

The battle is over, the victory won.


With hands uplifted and heart at peace,

I hear the call, my soul’s release.

No more pain, no more strife,

Just endless joy, eternal life.


Mother Naomi, faithful and true,

A servant of God through and through.

With Bishop George, she stood so strong,

Guiding the flock, teaching right from wrong.


Last night, as prayers were said,

And Goodness of God softly spread,

She answered the call, embraced the light,

Soaring to glory in heaven’s sight.


Though we mourn and shed our tears,

Their love and wisdom calm our fears.

For goodness and mercy lead the way,

And we’ll see them again on that glorious day.


Sleep well, dear Queen, take your rest,

In the arms of the Savior, eternally blessed.

Until we meet on the other shore,

Where love and peace reign evermore.
