The New Mount Rose Annual “Love Bowl” Set for February 6, 2025

Spreading the Love from Above in the Month of Love

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - In a world where food insecurity remains a pressing issue, New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church is committed to moving forward in faith, service, and love. On Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2864 Mississippi Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76104, under the steadfast leadership of Pastor Kyev Tatum, New Mount Rose will host its annual Love Bowl, an initiative dedicated to feeding the hungry, strengthening communities, and demonstrating the power of love in action.

Inspired by Luke 9:62, the Love Bowl is a call to remain focused on our mission, never turning back from the work of serving others. This year, in partnership with the Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas, Midwest Food Bank, Secured Moving Company, Healthier Texas, and the Sheriff’s Department Labor Detail, New Mount Rose will distribute over 10,000 pounds of free food to families in Fort Worth’s 76104 and 76105 ZIP codes, areas that remain among the most underserved in Texas.

A Legacy of Service and Compassion

Since March 2020, New Mount Rose has been a leading force in providing food, medical supplies, and essential resources to families in need. In 2024 alone, the Love Bowl helped distribute over $450,000 worth of food and supplies, making a life-changing impact on those facing hunger. Located in one of Texas largest food deserts, the church continues its unwavering mission to fill empty bowls and uplift struggling souls.

Join the Movement: How You Can Help

The New Mount Rose Love Bowl is more than just a one-day event, it is part of our monthly community food bowl, ensuring that families have ongoing access to nutritious food. While the food is provided free of charge, we are encouraging a $5 donation per food box, with all proceeds benefiting Midwest Food Bank to help sustain future distributions.

We invite churches, businesses, community organizations, and individuals to stand with us in this movement. Whether by volunteering, donating, or spreading the word, your support makes a lasting difference.
