The MLK Community Food Bowl – Fill Bowls, Bless Souls! 100,000 Pounds Distributed! Join the Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas as we celebrate 25 years of impactful service to our community! In 2024, we proudly distributed over 100,000 pounds of food from Fort Worth’s historic 76104 ZIP code, continuing our mission to fight hunger and uplift underserved neighborhoods. Founded by Dr. R.L. Rogers and Bishop B.E. George, the coalition has been a beacon of hope and compassion, now headquartered on the campus of New Mount Rose Missionary Baptist Church, 2864 Mississippi Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas. Under the leadership of Pastor Kyev Tatum, current president and host pastor, we’re expanding our efforts to ensure no one goes hungry. Thanks to the incredible support of Midwest Food Bank, Secured Moving Company, and the Sheriff’s Department Detail Unit, we’re taking bold steps to enhance our food distribution capabilities. Our latest initiative includes establishing walk-in freezer spaces at participating churches to better serve our communities year-round. Be part of this transformative event where we Fill Bowls and Bless Souls! Together, we’ll strengthen the spirit of service and community. Stay tuned for more details about how you can support this critical mission! For more information, contact the Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas at 817-966-7625. Let’s make a difference, one bowl at a time!
