On the Wings of Your Dreams

Inspired by Isaiah 40:30

They talk of dreams, a shining flame,

A hope, a purpose, a cherished name.

Yet dreams alone will fade and fall,

Unless we rise and heed the call.


For even the strong will stumble and tire,

And youth may falter, lose their desire.

But those who trust, who work, who pray,

Will find new strength to seize the day.


On the wings of dreams, through toil and strife,

We find the breath of abundant life.

Each step we take, each goal we claim,

Adds wings to hope and fuels the flame.


You cannot soar on words alone,

Nor reap the seeds you’ve never sown.

Dreams take courage, action, and fight,

To lift you higher, into the light.


So trust the Lord and dare to rise,

Stretch your wings toward endless skies.

For those who wait on His perfect plan,

Will run, not weary, and take their stand.


On the wings of your dreams, soar high and free,

With faith as your guide and eternity to see.

For in each dream fulfilled, His love is shown,

A glimpse of heaven, where seeds are grown.


Dream, then act; the time is now,

With faith and work, you’ll learn how.

Dr. King’s vision still sets the tone,

To lift each other until we’re home.
