 God Sent Us Sister Shay

I was concerned in heart and didn’t know what to say,

So I went on my knees and started to pray.


I prayed for the Lord to send someone our way,

Who would really commit to doing it Your Way.


And within a day, like the morning light,

God sent Sister Shay, so bold and bright.


With hands that serve and a heart so true,

She lifts the weary, she carries us through.


Her faith is strong, her love is pure,

A servant’s heart, steadfast and sure.


So we give thanks, both night and day,

For the blessing of God in Sister Shay.
