GOD’S ROSE. A Rose That Lives Forever.Written by Pastor Kyev Tatum Scripture: Romans 6:23
The philosopher posed a timeless question:
“Can a rose live forever?”
The room grew still.
Then the professor stood, adjusting his glasses with quiet assurance.
“Yes,” he said. “When a rose withers and its petals fall, its seeds descend into the soil. In time, those seeds bring forth new roses. What dies in one season is reborn in another.”
The physician rose next.
“Yes, a rose can live on,” he said. “In my world, when someone donates an organ—like a kidney—they may leave this life, but a part of them continues beating in another.
Even deeper still, a parent’s DNA flows like a river through their children and grandchildren. The essence of life does not end—it continues and multiplies.”
Then the preacher stepped forward, holding the Holy Scriptures, his eyes lifted toward heaven.
“YES!” he thundered. “A rose can live forever.
Not just in the soil.
Not just in the body.
Not just in the bloodline.
But in the presence of Almighty God.
The question is no longer:
Can a rose live forever?
The real question is:
Will you?
Each of us must choose.
Will we accept the priceless gift of salvation through Jesus Christ and bloom eternally in the gardens of glory?
Or will we reject that gift and wither away, eternally separated from the light of His love?
The Bible declares:
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” — Romans 6:23
You are more than a flower.
You are God’s rose—
Planted with purpose.
Pruned with love.
Destined for eternity.
And God wants you to live forever.
Amen.

God’s Rose 🌹 The Poem
GOD’S ROSE. A Rose That Lives Forever. By Pastor Kyev Tatum. Scripture: Romans 6:23
A philosopher stood with thoughtful grace,
And asked a question in time and space:
“Can a rose live on beyond its bloom,
Or is its fate a fading doom?”
The room fell still. The minds engaged.
Hearts awakened. Spirits staged.
Then rose a professor, wise and sure,
With knowledge deep and words so pure.
“When petals fall and seasons turn,
The seeds below begin to learn.
What dies today, in soil will grow—
New life reborn from what we sow.”
Then came the physician, heart in hand,
With healing hope and truth so grand.
“When organs pass from one to next,
The donor’s gift becomes life’s text.
And in our children’s veins we find
A legacy of life designed.
The body fades, but life remains—
A sacred stream in endless chains.”
Then stood the preacher, bold and bright,
A Bible clutched, his eyes alight.
“YES!” he thundered, “A rose can rise,
Beyond the soil, beyond the skies.
Not just in flesh, not just in name,
But in God’s glory, free of shame.”
“The question now is not ‘Can it be?’
But rather, child, what will you decree?
Will you accept Christ’s saving grace,
And bloom forever, face to face?
Or will you turn from love divine,
And wilt outside the sacred vine?”
The Word is clear, the truth is plain,
Through Jesus Christ, there is no chain.
“For sin pays death,” the Scriptures say,
“But God gives life in a better way.”
— Romans 6:23
So hear this truth, let it be known:
You are God’s rose, not your own.
Planted with purpose,
Pruned in His love,
Destined to dwell
In heaven above.
And though your petals may someday fall,
There is a life that conquers all.
Through Christ, the Lamb, you shall arise—
A rose eternal in paradise.
God wants you to live forever.
Amen.
